Here are Logan & Mason's top styling tips for spring

Now that the weather is getting warmer, there is no better time to give your room a makeover. We spoke to Legend Linen’s designer, Lizzie, about this season’s styling tips.

Here’s what we learned.

Experiment with a lighter theme if your room is smaller.
A great way to brighten up a room for summer is to stick with light, bright colours - pastel, beige and white can help to add some dimension to a room while keeping it fresh and modern. “Summer is a great time to style with natural fibres and textures - opt for a coverlet with no insert, so you can get rid of any heavy bedding for the hot weather.”

But play with bolder patterns in a larger space.
If you have the space, bold patterns like our Akena Forest are a fun way to bring in colour. With pops of pink and green, coupled with a reversible underside of leopard print, you can pick the pattern that best suits you.

Look outside inspiration. “Natural greens like sage reflect the nature around us, so tie it in with light furniture - rattan is on trend and can look both bohemian and Hamptons inspired. Woven baskets to keep everyday essentials like beach bags and towels at the ready.”

Embrace blue tones.

Blue evokes the feeling of summer - lapping waves, beach hair and lazy days. Our Noah Atlantic and Boss Red quilts feature fun geometric stripes and shapes. Style the room to be all-white to make the bed the focal point of the room: white roses or lilies, a white faux fur blanket and woven rug can really tie everything together.

If all else fails, trust your gut.
“As much as I love colour and eclectic styling: it can be tricky to get it right. Picking colours that you like is a good foundation. Trust what you gravitate to naturally, and if you don’t want to dive into a whole new colour theme right away - try incorporating accessories like mirrors, plants and cushions in fun colours!” says Lizzie.
